WHAT IS IT?

Technical Training is LTE's supplemental training program tailored to players looking to further progress their technical skill development.

Junior Academy Technical Training- "Learning to Train": The Junior Academy has an added complimentary third training day for all players. This training day is on one of the off days their team doesn't train. It is a 12 week program.

Objective: The LTE JA Technical Training objective is to teach players how to train in a structured environment while focusing on the skills and techniques that are required in todays modern game. At the end of the 12 week programs players will have learned how to perform of the basic turns and skill moves we focus on at this age. Sessions will be designed to have each player with a ball for 90% of the technical session. We will have a 14:1 player coach ratio with a trained professional coach who has qualified to lead a group and provide professional feedback to players after each repetition and session.

Select Technical Training-"Training to Train: Select Red Teams also have technical training included with their player fees. Objective: The objective of the Elite Technical Training Program is to offer players 1 full hour of technical training with fitness incorporated into each session. During the 12 week program players will train to master their skill by pushing the repetition on the ball focusing on different topics. We want players to technically develop throughout the season and become a true game changer for their team. The environment is set up for teams to bond and form chemistry together working outside of a team setting. Player will work in groups no larger than 14 players to 1 coach and groups will be formed based off age and teams but may change week to week.

Futsal-  Join us for some amazing technical futsal training with Coach Jorge Vella! Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced small sided soccer game that is played across the world and is officially recognized by both FIFA and UEFA.  It has a large emphasis on technical skills in pressure situations that can transfer to the outdoor game.

Objective: The objective of our futsal program is for players to learn how to think and play quicker, to control the ball in tighter spaces, and to make decisions under high pressure. The main focus will be game situations. Coach Jorge's philosophy is "futsal for futbol". Futsal players will not only learn technical skills but how and when to use them in a game.
